What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in is from 2pm, Sunday 3pm and Check out is by 11am – only when booking direct. Check in is from 3pm when booking via an agent.

Can we have a late check-out?

Yes, please contact reception for more details so we know in advance. There may be a charge.

Can we check-in early?

Yes, please contact reception for more details so we know in advance. There may be a charge.

Do you have ground-floor bedrooms?

No, we do have accessible rooms on the first floor accessed by lift.

Does your hotel have a lift?

Yes we do to all floors.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes we do.

Do you have bedrooms with walk-in showers?

Yes however we only have a limited amount of rooms with these facilities.

How do I cancel my booking?

If you have booked direct with us please call 01738 630066 or email salessalutation@strathmorehotels,com. If you have booked via a travel agent or other online booking site please contact them to cancel.

What is your child policy?

We have ideal family rooms available for 3, 4 and 5 people and also some double and twin rooms that can take a cot for young children or perhaps a small extra bed with prior notification. Children sharing a room with two adults: 0-4 years of age = 50% of adult price 5-13 years of age = half price. If you wish to travel with a child and take advantage of these rates then please call us on 01738 630066 to check availability and to book or email salessalutation@strathmorehotels.com.

Is there WiFi available in the bedrooms?

Yes, there is a small charge of £5.00 per day per item if you have not booked directly. This is free in public areas. If you have booked a Classic Room via an agent then WiFi will be charged at £5 per day.

Do you offer 24-hour room service?

Yes, there is a small menu with drinks available 24 hours.

Does your room have ironing facilities?

Yes we do, they are available on request.

What time is breakfast served at?

Monday to Friday 7.30am till 9.30am, Saturday 7.30am till 10.00am and Sunday 8am til 10am.

Do you have laundry services?

Yes, ask reception for more details.

Are dogs welcome, if so what is your dog policy? Is there a dog limit?

Yes, dogs are welcome for £15 per dog per night (max 2 dogs per room), dogs are not allowed in dining areas however they are allowed in public areas. Due to a control over the number of dogs allowed in the property, failure to inform us that you will be bringing a dog may therefore result in your booking having to be cancelled without refund. Any attempts to bring or conceal a dog in the hotel without our prior knowledge will result in the dog and owner being removed and your booking cancelled without refund.

In the interests of hygiene and the comfort of other guests, we would appreciate it if you could kindly adhere to the following guidelines:

• Please let us know when you book that you will be bringing your dog with you.
• Dogs must not be left unattended in hotel bedrooms for prolonged periods of time.
• Please keep dogs on a leash/muzzled at all times whilst in the hotel and hotel grounds.
• The dog owner will be liable and subsequent charges will be levied on or after departure should any damage be sustained to the hotel property or should there be a requirement for industrial level cleaning.
• Unacceptable behaviour, including excessive noise, will not be tolerated.

Please contact the hotel of your choice regarding bringing your pet and a member of the team will be happy to assist.

Residents may purchase a drink from the bar anytime during their stay.

What are the opening times of the restaurant?

Adam Restaurant open 6.30pm till 8.30pm, during quieter times food will only be served in Reids Bar for a cosier atmosphere.  Reids Bar meals are from 12 till 9.00pm.

Are there hairdryers in the bedrooms?

Yes.

Is there a local taxi service?

Yes, please ask reception.

We are celebrating a special occasion, what can you do for us?

If you are celebrating a special occasion, please let us know and we can discuss upgrades and add-ons such as wine, champagne and room upgrades.

Are we committed to the environment and green procedures?

Yes we have GTBS Silver Award.

Do you accept cheques?

Yes but they must arrive at least 14 days before arrival and they should be made payable to Strathmore Hotels Ltd.

What currency and credit cards are accepted?

The hotel accepts payments made by cash (Sterling only), most major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard).

Is smoking allowed in the hotel?

Our hotel is totally non-smoking and this includes vapours and e-cigs.

Does the hotel cater for specific allergens?

All our food and menus are labelled to provide accurate allergy information and our professional chefs are here to help. Please let the Reception team aware when you book if you have any such allergies or any specific dietary requirements.

Do we offer packed lunches?

We offer a classic and a superior range of packed lunches.

Does the hotel offer any discounts for local attractions?

We do have a number of exclusive deals within the area.

Does the hotel provide toiletries?

Yes we provide soap and shower Gel.

Is the hotel manned at night?

Yes there is a night duty manager on during the night.

Are guests allowed in the hotel?

Yes residents may have guests in their bedrooms in the hotel.

Can the hotel store luggage?

Yes we have a luggage store under CCTV.

Can the hotel store bikes and golf clubs?

Yes we have limited space to store bikes / golf clubs etc.

Does the hotel have an induction loop?

Yes we have a portable one and a built in one in the Moncreiffe Suite.

Is there live entertainment?

Yes, we provide live entertainment throughout our peak seasons. This changes on a week to week basis. If you’d like to find out more please give us a call or an email.

Do you offer car parking and is it free?

No, but there are nearby pay and display car parks. If you are attending a meeting there is discounted parking slips available at reception desk for the multi carpark on Canal Street.

Do you have disabled parking?

No, there are several blue badge spaces within minutes walk of hotel.

Is there a rechargeable point for electric cars?

No.
